Le Grand-Bornand has something to offer both those who enjoy a leisurely ski and those who are keen on competitive skiing.
The Grand-Bornand ski area boasts 90 km of slopes for all ability levels, dotted with numerous recreational facilities and heritage features that contribute to the village’s unique character.
- 48 slopes: 14 green, 16 blue, 13 red and 5 black, including a freeride area and a slope with a 1,100-metre vertical drop.
- 24 ski lifts (capacity: 37,331 skiers per hour)
- 2 gondola lifts, 10 chairlifts and 9 T-bar lifts, 2 free-access magic carpets and 1 rope tow
- A snowpark ranked in the French top 10, featuring 4 jump lines for all levels (from S to XL), multiple rails for all levels, 1 red-level boardercross, 1 free Big Airbag, 1 blue-level boardercross at the Chinaillon snow front and fun zones.
- 5 marked ski touring routes, including 1 night route
- 1 timed run, the ‘ALPINA EXPERIENCE’, where you can test your speed against the champions’ times.
- 3 beginner areas (at the top of the Rosay gondola lift and the Chinaillon snow front), including a wide conveyor belt, and a total of 6 toboggan runs (snow tubing: new for 2026)
- 2 play areas featuring Môm’Park, a freestyle zone for children, and a themed play run: the Défi Môm’
- 1 service hub designed to streamline the visitor experience, bringing together under one roof an ESF reception point, the ski lift ticket office, a ski storage facility, a crèche and public toilets

- CO₂ emissions: on average, each visitor spending a day in the resort will emit 215g of CO₂ whilst using the ski lifts.
- 280 ski instructors across two ski schools.
- 100% of the electricity supplied to the ski lifts, generated from hydroelectric power, is certified as green by the Compagnie Nationale du Rhône.

- The opening of the ski lifts and access to the slopes may change at any time depending on snow and weather conditions, safety considerations, and various maintenance operations. Outside opening hours, access to the ski areas is strictly prohibited.
