Description

Discover the district's orchard farmers, the history of the mountain apple and its different varieties as well as the essential role played by bees in pollination. A guided tour followed by apple juice and Biscantin (Aravis cider) tasting.
The Thones fruit growers association, inaugurated in 1998, groups together the area's fruit growers. They bring their fruit here for the production of various products. Come and see the exhibition of photos, ancient objects and texts... Also a video explaining trimming, grafting, and manufacture of apple juice and biscantin. There's a fun, educational display for kids on the subject of the apple using animated puppets, representing the 4 seasons cycle of the apple.
