Between Savoie and Haute-Savoie, Mont Charvin is the southern tip of the Aravis. Its ascent is not easy, this route allows to admire it more easily, by accessing its lake. Explore the Charvin mountain pastures, the emblematic cheese production site of the Thônes Valley: the reblochon. During your walk, you will pass by the alp of Freu. Take the time to immerse yourself in the pastoral life of Charvin by exchanging with the alpagist, during a gourmet break on the farm. After the passage under the imposing rock of the Goenne, the lake is revealed. Nestled in the heart of Mont Charvin, this natural Cirque offers a magnificent landscape.
