Roman bridge path

The Roman bridge path is a loop easily walkable with the family, leaving from the centre of Thones.

From the Plot car park, follow the left bank of the river to the Chossiere bridge. At the bridge take the right fork, follow the Chamossiere route for several meters. After the hairpin bend take the path on the left which descends towards the river Fier, following it until the Pecherat bridget. Take the path which climbs towards the village of Les Clefs. At the old school, take the path on the left which descends to the old sawmill. Cross over the river then climb the other side, to the road leading to Manigod. Cross the road and take the road leading to Les Pohets, up to the intersection with the Galfat road which goes off to the left. At the first hairpin bend take a left in the Mont Forest leading back to Thones.
